Dear Listeners: You made it my little corner of our website, so you deserve to know #5 -- Terrence Cook Oh, Terrence. I've read too many Agatha Christie novels to really think anyone can ever be exonorated of a crime until the actual criminal's identity has been revealed. Just because you're a likeable guy with some character flaws doesn't mean you're off the hook. (Ask Aaron Echolls if you don't believe me.) It's possible that the writers are lulling us into trusting the baseball legend before socking us with his guilt, but I find that somewhat unsatisfying, since he doesn't seem the type to kill an ex-lover, much less an ex-lover and a bus full of innocent kids. I want to believe it wasn't him, I really do. #4 -- Kendall Casablancas nee Chifflet (aka Priscilla Banks) She's only so far down the list because her involvement would come as almost no surprise, especially after the skeletons in her closet were revealed in "Nevermind the Buttocks." She's the total package -- mean, poor, and on the wrong side of an 8-figure life insurance settlement. Mrs. Casablancas certainly isn't one to be messed with lightly, having concrete ties to the Fightin' Fitzpatricks, but shedoesn't seem like one to go through so much trouble to kill the Brothers Casablancas when she could do it with a well-time house fire. Oh no, I hope I'm not giving her any ideas. #3 -- Mayor McCreepy (Woody Goodman) There's literally nothing that doesn't skeeve me out about Balboa County Commissioner and fast-food entrepreneur Woody Goodman. He's not on the level about something, and with his touchy-feely time with Logan, I'm guessing it has nothing to do with his quarterly profits. What's up with the settlement for PWT's family, too? No one finds digits in their ribwiches anymore. That is soooo 2005. Goodman was at the field that day, had access to the bags, the explosives, the bus, pretty much everything someone needed to make a bus go boom. I'd explain more, but I just can't get my mind off that tasty ribwich.. Mmmmmm, ribwich. #2 -- Vincent "Butters" Clemmons This, I'm sure you're thinking, is where the train jumps the tracks. Why? Well, he's been in the show since the first episode of season 2. He's got a thing for Mac and does tend to be a badass. He knew Marcos pretty well, maybe there's something we don't know there. Honestly, I know the party or parties responsible for the bus crash will most likely be someone we've never even expected before. If so, my money's on the soft-but-oh-so-delicious Butters. I mean Vincent. Please don't kill me. #1 -- Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas He's my top choice because he seems to be the one character who could most ably pull all the strings needed to set this up. Why? Well, a number of theories are possibilities. Perhaps he's setting up Mayor Goodman for a terrible action committed in the past, or he could be trying to frame Kendall to get her out of his own life (and his business portfolio). Recently, much attention has been given to Beaver's love life -- I tend to think that the "outing of all outings" the dead student spoke of may be Beaver's. Many theories abound, and I'm interesting in hearing them all! theo@neptunepirateradio.com Theo's Five Questions: 1) Who made the anonymous call from Logan's Life's Short party? 2) Who killed Curly Moran, and why was Veronica's name written on his hand? 3) Why was Terrence Cook breaking into Ms. Dumas's parents' home? 4) Who hired the prostitute to steal Cliff's briefcase? 5) Who was the anonymous tipster who clued Veronica into the Please let me what you think! |
